A.O.C (Appellation d’Origine Controlee) Wine Bar in West Hollywood is the perfect place to go if you are craving small bites but a multitude of flavors. It is also home to a fabulous selection of wines which go particularly well with the titillating Mediterranean fare.
Set in a warm contemporary space, A.O.C has both an upstairs and the more preferred downstairs dining area. Everything at A.O.C is personal from the sharing of the small plates, to the close vicinity of the tables. Not really a place I would recommend spilling your deepest, darkest secrets during dinner conversation since your neighboring diners will be sure to get an earful although A.O.C. does make an intimate date spot for you and your amour.
Along with the wine bar, A.O.C. has a cheese and charcuterie bar where you can have front row seating to the cheese varietals of blue, goat, sheep and cow and the zestful charcuterie selections which are prepared directly in front of you.
Suzanne Goin and Carolyn Styne’s A.O.C. is a favorite of many and always packed, so reserve a table, or take your chance and drop in and find a nice cozy spot at the wine or charcuterie and cheese bar.
