S. Pellegrino World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2010

Congratulations to Chef Rene Redzepi and the team at Copehagen’s Noma for receiving the honor of number one restaurant in S. Pellegrino’s World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2010 which were announced Monday evening at a glitzy award’s ceremony in London, England. The 32-year-old Chef Redzepi of the Denmark based Noma, had previously worked in a number of 3-Star Michelin restaurants including Thomas Keller’s French Laundry, Ferrán Adrià’s El Bulli and Jacques and Laurent Pourcel’s Jardin des Sens.

After four consecutive years at the number one spot, Adrià’s El Bulli slipped to the number two position – a slot that many top chefs in the world still highly covet.
