I previously featured La Mar on Food Fashionista a few years back, but wanted to reshare some favorite items I had on my recent visit this week. The cuisine is so vibrant and colorful, you can't help but snap a picture here and there. In addition to the bright dishes, Azure-woven chairs add color to the expansive space. Next time you find yourself at the waterfront adjacent La Mar, make sure to try these dishes:
Causa Tasting (top)- Whipped Potatoes with Limeña, Saltadito, Nikei, Casera and assortment of dipping sauces (below) accompanied with complimentary basket of chips, plantains, and sweet potatoes.
Orange Glazed Chocolate Beignets w/banana & lemongrass ice cream
Even if you aren't in close vicinity to San Francisco, you can visit La Mar at their seven other locations around the world including New York, Bogota, Mexico, Lima, Sao Paolo, Santiago de Chile, and Panama.
