On August 17th in San Francisco, my friend Chloe Harris and Frankie Frankeny will be sponsoring a fundraising event hosting marriage equality at Orson restaurant. For those of you not in the San Francisco restaurant know, Orson is the latest brainchild of chef Elizabeth Falkner. I had the pleasure of working with Elizabeth back in the early 90s and not only is she an extremely talented chef, but she is also an amazingly wonderful person. Along with Elizabeth, other chefs will be jubilating the palate including the fabulous Traci des Jardins and Jen Biesty of Top Chef fame. Guests will have a chance to bid on premium charity auctions from luxe donors such as the Ritz Carlton, LaTour Vineyards, and the Four Seasons Hotel. Award winning bass player Marcus Shelby, and jazz songstress Kellye Gray will also be on hand to delight guests with their smooth jazz sounds. All this and much more for $75 per person, I think I would have to say " I do".
