Black Truffle Popcorn and Champagne
Clock Bar was our first stop of the night. I hadn't been back to San Francisco since it opened in July, so it was definitely on the list to check out. We had the perfect corner table reserved for us and it was the ideal start to a Friday evening with friends in picturesque San Francisco. Dinner was scheduled for later in the night at new Peruvian spot La Mar, so I didn't want to fill up on too much food and opted for a light snack of Black Truffle Pop Corn with Garden Chives and a nice glass of Sparkling Rose'. I was craving the Lobster Corn Dogs, but knew that if I had one, I'd have to have another, then another and then soon no appetite left for dinner.

The room was packed and the bar was bustling. Clock Bar's resident mixologist, Marco Dionysos was busy working his magic behind the bar with his signature cocktails. The vibe is swanky and lounge like. The crowd is a mix of locals and tourists, so don't get turned off if you see a hotel guest in a Fisherman's Wharf sweatshirt sitting at an adjacent table. LOL... No but really, a nice sexy spot for a drink before dinner or a light bite and cocktails with a few friends after work.
Clock Bar is situated right off the lobby entrance of the historic Westin St. Francis Hotel. It is right across the way from restaurant Michael Mina. Clock Bar is also a part of the Mina Group.

michael mina's truffle pop corn is the bomb. I went to clock bar last week and it was a good spot to eat michael mina food in a less stuffy but modern lounge kind of place
