
It's never too late to plan those special holiday dinners. That's especially true when it consists of special collaborations with some of San Francisco's top culinary dynamos. Due to the success of its inaugural festivities, San Francisco's Fifth Floor restaurant just announced their 2nd annual Holiday Guest Chef Series. Once again, Fifth Floor's Chef David Bazirgan will bring in some of his favorite chef friends in to the restaurant, to cook and collaborate on a special tasting menu influenced by the guest chefs’ rich culture and heritage.
The line-up of local chefs is impressive and the regional themes of their tasting menus diverse. From Mourad Lahlou of Aziza's Moroccan roots, to Ravi Kapur's Hawaiian heritage, guests are guaranteed a delectable tour. Each dinner will consist of 7 courses and will cost $125/person with an additional $75 option for wine pairings. A portion of the proceeds will go to Meals on Wheels.

For those diners looking to extend the special evening, Hotel Palomar San Francisco is offering the "Ultimate Night Cap" exclusively to guests booking one of the Guest Chef Dinners. Diners will be treated to 20% off the rack rate, along with a choice of night cap at turndown: Spiced Cider, Hot Chocolate or Hot Toddy, alcohol optional.
