SF Chefs Food Wine 2010 – August 9-15

Can't believe almost a year has flown by since the inaugural SF Chefs Food Wine Festival in San Francisco's Union Square. It feels like just yesterday when Chef Tyler Florence and Mayor Gavin Newsom were ribbon cutting at the opening ceremony and Chef Hubert Keller was bringing down the house with his electrifying mix mastering on the turn tables at the evening soiree.

Well, fortunately for us all, SF Chefs Food Wine is back for 2010 and better than ever showcasing even more cutting edge, world class Northern California chefs, restaurants, farmers, winemakers, ranchers, mixologists, culinary personalities, and vintners.

Also, what a pleasant surprise to be included on the SF Chefs Food Wine's 2010 post card ad (above). I grew up and spent most of my years in the San Francisco Bay Area, so this festival holds a very near and dear place to my heart. SF Chefs Food Wine is a weekend not to be missed with a portion of the proceeds going to support the Golden Gate Restaurant Association Scholarship Foundation.

    Hello,

We are food nuts, and we watch all of these chefs on various shows… any tricks to getting into an event for less cost? We bought tickets with a promo code to the Top Chef happy hour as we could not afford to get into the tasting tents. I used to live and work in the city but have lost most contacts in the past 15 years. Love your blogs, thank you for those.
