Back in the day before Little Star and Patxi's, there was the original deep dish Bay Area pizza, Zachary's. With three locations in the East Bay, Zachary's Chicago Pizza is an employee-owned company that has been serving satisfied pizza lovers since 1983. I frequented the Solano and College Avenue locations growing up, and still go back to this day for the Zachary's Special with sausage, mushroom, onion, green pepper and added garlic (pictured above). With eclectic pizza inspired art on the walls, Zachary's is a comfortable, casual spot for all ages. Next time you are craving some stuffed pizza in the 510 or 925, head over to Zachary's.
