Diane Von Furstenberg and Wonder Woman at MAGIC
A week in Vegas and I am feeling a bit like Wonder Woman. During the days I ran around from appointment to meeting to appointment at MAGIC, Project, The Accessories Show, and so on and during the evenings made it to all my feasting appointments with friends at STRIPSTEAK at Mandalay Bay, Daniel Boulud Brasserie at The Wynn, Michael Mina at Bellagio, and L'ATELIER at MGM Grand. I even had a chance to see LC (Lauren Conrad) of The Hills at Project and visit with Raymond Nisi, owner of Double Helix, the incredible wine boutique and wine bar at the Palazzo, which I will soon feature here on Food Fashionista.

Signature Caviar Parfait at MICHAEL MINA
After dinner w/the ladies of SPIN Magazine
Also made it to several industry parties, including the SPIN Magazine party at Rok thrown by my NY based friend Monina who is the fab director of events at SPIN. All this while avoiding a sun burn or melting in the 104 degree weather! But I am one of those rare individuals that can stay in Vegas for more than a few days and be completely fine and unaffected. Honestly, I actually wanted to stay longer so I could attend the Carnival of Cuisine this weekend which I am super bummed that I will be missing, but hey, back in Hollywood this week and now time to attend my labor day dining appointments with my LA friends!

The photo of the Michael Mina caviar parfait is making my mouth water. I’ve had this treat a couple of times and there is nothing quite like it – a must have with champagne!
Thanks for all the great suggestions on restaurants!!! Keep up the good work….
