Today at an exclusive sneak preview luncheon at the London in West Hollywood which I had the pleasure to attend, the 2009 Michelin Guide Star recipients for Los Angeles were announced. 20 restaurants received the prestigious Michelin Star honor including four restaurants receiving 2 stars and sixteen restaurants receiving 1 star. In addition to featuring the twenty Michelin star restaurants, the new Michelin Guide features a total of 310 restaurants and 33 Hotels in the guide.
New to the Michelin 1 Star category are Bastide, Gordon Ramsay at the London, Hatfield’s, Osteria Mozza and Sushi Zo. Providence joined the Michelin 2 Star category.
