Most people cringe at the idea of having to do their bi-monthly errands, but when it comes to shopping or eating, I'm always, well usually game. That's why I woke up with a smile on my face (okay, exaggerating a bit) when I knew it was time to visit the big warehouse store, aka Costco. In my world, Costco time means time to indulge guilt-free in some calorie-filled favorites. I believe that balance is key, so there ain't no shame in an occasional slice of slightly greasy cheese pizza or a Hebrew National Polish Sausage.
Last year at a discussion for the movie Julie and Julia, one of Julia Child's dearest friends mentioned that one of Julia's favorite snacks were Costco hotdogs. I think everyone actually has a choice Costco item they secretly crave. Equipped with an intense sweet tooth, I'd have to say one of my Costco cravings is the Chocolate Hand Dipped Vanilla Ice Cream Bar rolled in Almonds. A generous portion of rich vanilla ice cream and a melt in your mouth chocolate shell, it's hard to believe it's only $1.50. Ooh la la…I think it's time to go buy some bulk items today.

That’s calories burned in one spin class, so I enjoy it quite nicely. Especially since I only eat them a few times a year, but spin many more times than that. 😉
I just went to a Costco store the other day, and stood in line to order a hand dipped
Ice cream with almonds and found out they stopped selling them, I was so disappointed,it ruined my day. The clerk said she felt bad about it. I hope they
Will bring them back.
